New York rapper Azealia Banks is not relying on e-beefing to handle her recent alleged assault with Hollywood actor Russell Crowe. New reports claim the 25-year-old has sought out law enforcement.

According to reports, Banks has filed a battery report against the award-winning star.

The Russell Crowe-Azealia Banks feud is now in the hands of police after the rapper filed a battery report over their fight in his hotel suite. Sources connected to the case tell us … Azealia went to Bev Hills PD Sunday afternoon after demanding Russell apologize for the incident, where he physically removed her from the room. We’re told Crowe’s reps said he wouldn’t say sorry, because he insists he did nothing wrong. (TMZ)

This past weekend, Banks revealed what happened in a now-deleted Facebook post.

Some reports claimed an Azealia outburst and nasty speech ultimately sparked the incident.

According to eyewitness accounts the trouble started when Azealia laughed out loud at Russell’s music selection, and then called him and at least one other guest, “boring white men.” We’re told a female guest jumped to Russell’s defense and suggested Banks pipe down. We’re told Azealia reached for her glass, cocked it back … and that’s when Russell had enough — he grabbed her in a bear hug and carried her out of the suite. He then called hotel security guards who removed Azealia from the grounds. (TMZ)

Reports claim Banks attended the event as a guest of hip-hop artist RZA.

Eyewitnesses claim Banks had been behaving “erratically” at the party, which she had attended in the company of Wu Tang Clan rapper and director RZA. (Telegraph UK)
