Azealia Banks Kills Eminem Feud Hype: “Get Over It Already”

New York rapper Azealia Banks has died down rumors and speculation about a full-fledged war brewing between herself and rap star Eminem following shots fired at fellow musician Lana Del Rey.

Banks killed the idea of an ongoing beef continuing with Em early Wednesday (November 12).

In his freestyle, Slim Shady directly name-dropped the singer and compared himself to now-infamous ex-NFL player Ray Rice this week.

“But I may fight for gay rights, especially if they dyke is more of a knockout than Janay Rice/ Play nice? B*tch I’ll punch Lana Del Rey right in the face twice, like Ray Rice in broad daylight in the plain sight of the elevator surveillance/ ‘Til her head is banging on the railing, then celebrate with the Ravens.” (Pitchfork)

Coincidentally, Del Rey has previously dished on her admiration for Em.

In the past, Del Rey has admitted being a big Eminem fan, claiming in one interview: “He really changed my life. I didn’t know music could be intelligent. He wasn’t just rhyming for rhyme’s sake.
