New York hip-hop artist Azealia Banks can reportedly breathe easy again following a publicized assault case in Los Angeles last year.
According to reports, Banks no longer has to worry about charges hitting her in the case.
TMZ has learned the L.A. City Attorney rejected the case for lack of evidence. As we first reported, Azealia went OFF in October on a door guy at Break Room 86. LAPD investigated, but we’re told the security footage alone was not enough. Law enforcement sources who’ve seen the video footage say it’s unclear who the aggressor was in the brawl and since the bouncer didn’t have any injuries … it would be tough to prosecute. (TMZ)
Banks previously made headlines over a flight incident back in September.
The eyewitness says Azealia tried to squeeze by the couple when the French man put his hand out. Azealia, we’re told, went nuts. The eyewitness says she spit in the man’s face, punched him in the face and clawed at his shirt. At that point we’re told the flight attendant grabbed Azealia’s bag and told her to calm down. She lost her balance, fell to the seat, stood up and then a tug-of-war over the luggage ensued. This is where the video begins. (TMZ)
