Reason 5: Black Panther
This one was a toss up for me. Say what you will, I LOVED the first Guardians of the Galaxy. This narrowly beat out GotG because Erik Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan) gave us one of the best villains in all of the MCU. He may not have gone out like a gangster, but he sure as hell played one. I don’t think any of us expected his performance to overshadow T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman) but he did. The star of Creed stole the movie. He was excellent. That is saying a lot because Boseman was really good as well. For me that was the deciding factor in having to choose between Guardians and Black Panther. That close of a margin.
Honorable Mentions: Guardians of the Galaxy, Iron Man, Spider Man: Homecoming.
The Avengers: Infinity War is only the first part of the Infinity War. We still have another year before this part of the MCU is behind us. All these movies and yet we still have more to go. I hope you all have had as much fun watching these movies as I have. We have reached the climax of the MCU to this point. We still have two more characters to go before it’s finally done. Adam Warlock should be coming soon, but if you haven’t seen Infinity War yet, I won’t spoil it for you. They’re coming soon.
