Ashanti finally broke her silence and responded to Irv Gotti, claiming she was disloyal to him in an interview on Angie Martinez’s IRL podcast.
Power 105.1’s Angie Martinez recently interviewed Ashanti on her IRL (In Real Life) podcast. The R&B icon further revealed the issues she experienced with Murder Inc label owner Irv Gotti.
During the conversation, the “Foolish” artist once again denied Irv’s claims of her being a disloyal artist to the label once they went through hard times with the federal investigation in 2003.
Ashanti also revealed that Gotti once bragged that he was the reason other male artists in the industry wanted her sexually. She added that he would tell her he made her “fuckable.”
Furthermore, the New York artist dismisses the notion that Irv Gotti made her into the star fans know her to be today.

In the snippet, The “Foolish” artist says Irv is obsessed with her years after the breakup:
“It’s giving obsessed, it’s giving you stress, it’s getting you pressed, it’s giving this nigga missing the best.”
In the aforementioned Drink Champs interview, the Murder Inc boss says he was very disappointed when he found out that Ashanti dumped him for Nelly.
In the recent Murder Inc docuseries, Gotti said Ashanti was unloyal to the label when she left during the federal government invading the label.
