Grammy-winning singer Rihanna is ‘this’ much closer to having justice served in the murder of her cousin. A new report claims law enforcement has made an arrest in the slaying of Tavon Alleyne.
According to reports, a 23-year-old suspect made an appearance this week and is charged with murder.
Police have arrested and charged 23-year-old Shawayne Dashawn Williams of White Hall #1, St Michael with the murder of 21-year-old Tavon Alleyne. Update: Shawayne Dashawn Williams was remanded after appearing before Magistrate Douglas Fredericks in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court today. Williams was not required to plead to the indictable offence. He will next appear in court on January 31. Williams, who is charged with the December 26 murder of Tavon Alleyne, is represented by attorney Angella Mitchell-Gittens. (Nation News)

Tavon — who was just 21 years old — was shot several times by an unidentified man as he was walking near his home in the St. Michael area of the island. Cops are on the lookout for the shooter, and have asked the public for any info or leads that could lead to his capture. (TMZ)
