Pittsburgh rapper Mac Miller is sticking by his lady’s side. The hip-hop veteran has announced plans to nix some weekend performances following Ariana Grande‘s publicized Manchester concert bombing.
Heading into the weekend, Miller announced he wouldn’t hit the stage at the Soundset and Sasquatch music festivals.
Reports claim Miller’s girlfriend Ariana Grande is putting together an upcoming Manchester relief concert.
Sources familiar with the plans tell us Ariana and her manager, Scooter Braun, are reaching out to some of the biggest names in music and are in the process of booking them. We’re told Ariana has invited performers who are friends of hers to participate. It will be held in one of the 4 big arenas in town, but not the Manchester Arena, where the terrorist bomb exploded, killing 22 and injuring 59. (TMZ)

Earlier this week, Ariana reunited with Miller following her concert’s deadly aftermath.
The 23-year-old singer was greeted by her boyfriend, rapper Mac Miller, in Boca Raton, Florida, on Tuesday at the airport, after a suicide bomber killed 22 people at her concert in Manchester, England, on Monday night. Grande, wearing a black hoodie and holding a blanket, was clearly emotional reuniting with 25-year-old Miller, and appeared to be fighting back tears. (ET Online)
