One of Ari Lennox’s fans took to Twitter to express their thoughts on the delay of her next album:
“@AriLennox I’m blaming the label for not releasing the album at this point. I know it’s done. They’re tripping.”
While the fan seemingly blamed the record label, Ari made sure to address the hold-up, announcing that a sophomore album is, in fact, underway.
She tweeted:
“Boyeeee it’s me. I’m a baby perfectionist. She’s not ready yet . My sophomore baby is coming soon”.
At the beginning of the year, the “Shea Butter Baby” artist made headlines after tweeting that she wanted to be dropped from all her labels amidst social media attacks after a “disrespectful” interview with a South African podcaster.
So, the fan’s Twitter comment comes as no surprise.
It looks like the singer has cleared the air with her record label and is preparing to release new music.
