Despite the lack of details surrounding their status, Three Stacks admitted they are still good friends.

“We joke a lot,” André says of his relationship with the unpredictable siren. “People just don’t know our personal life. We joke like that on the phone. She calls me her baby daddy and I call her my baby mama. It’s funny to us now because it’s such a talked-down type term. It is what it is. It’s totally a punch line.” (VIBE)

Andre 3000 also dishes on their 17-year-old son right here…

The music superstar also talked about their teenage son.

“Our son is about to be 17 and he tells us, ‘You guys are nuts,'” André laughs. “Erykah and I are cool friends, man. We talk on the phone. She even asks my advice on relationships. She’s like a cool sister more than anything. The first thing people would think about us is, ‘Oh, they don’t get along.’ But there are always feelings when people grow apart. It’s something you have to get through. But man, we are cool.” (VIBE)

Despite the anticipation, Three Stacks recently said a new OutKast LP was not yet in the making.

“There are no plans to do [an Outkast album]. It’s not like some people think: ‘They’re about to drop this album!’ We don’t have, like, one song. There’s no trickery or nothing like that,” Andre explained in an interview. “It’s kind of like growing up in a house with your brother, people expecting y’all to live in the same room and have bunk beds forever. And people try to read into it and say people are beefing. But it’s nothing like that, man. Big Boi will always be my brother and a really important part of my life.” (Billboard)

Recently, Andre talked about what an OutKast biopic would look like.

Rapper Andre Benjamin worked obsessively on his startling portrayal of Jimi Hendrix in the new film Jimi: All Is By My Side, and he already has ideas about a potential biopic for his group Outkast. “It would be great to make an Outkast movie right now, but instead of really serious, make it a full comedy  — like Kevin Hart would play Big Boi,” he said of his rapping partner last night. And as himself? “We should cast somebody stupid — like Leonardo [DiCaprio].” (Rolling Stone)
