Vixen Amber Rose reportedly enforced a strict rule of no mentioning ex-boyfriend Kanye West or his celebrity wife Kim Kardashian at her SlutWalk demonstration this weekend.
According to reports, Rose threatened media with a letter explaining the KimYe ban.
In a letter given to everyone on the red carpet, Rose asked she only get questions about the walk and her personal endeavors. One paragraph specifically states that anyone who brings up Yeezus and Kim will be kicked out. It’s interesting given Kanye’s history with Rose … the two have gone back and forth with disses since their split in 2010 but it looks like Rose wants to completely phase Yeezy out. (TMZ)
Rose and supporters gathered at Los Angeles’ Pershing Square for the publicized demonstration yesterday (October 3).
The event was promoted as a way to express “outrage toward issues of sexual violence, gender inequality, derogatory labeling and victim blaming.” The mostly female crowd, some shirtless, others in costume and in various states of dress, carried signs declaring “My Clothes Are Not My Consent” and “The Way I Dress Does Not Mean Yes.” (LA Times)
Rose posted up pictures from the event onto Instagram Saturday (October 3).
Amber’s fully rode with her supporters with various signs.
She was also seen holding up a pink sign that read, “My p—-y, my choice” and another that read, “Strippers have feelings too.” Other signs spotted at the event included slogans such as “My clothes are not my consent” and “Proud slut.” (E! Online)
