Kanye West's ex-girlfriend Amber Rose is rumored to be dating New York rapper Fabolous just a few months from breaking-up with the Grammy-winning artist.
According to reports, Rose and Fab are keeping their relationship on the low.
We have a feeling West’s ex, bald beauty Amber Rose, won’t be too jealous of Thornton, despite Rose’s breakup with Kanye this summer. After a rumored summer fling with New Orleans Saint Reggie Bush, the model found another trophy fish in the hip-hop gene pool: rapper Fabolous. Rose and Fab haven’t advertised their romance, either, but one nightlife-loving source spied the duo at Juliet Supper Club in Chelsea on Monday morning. They arrived together at 1 a.m. with two other friends, but left separately: Rose at around 3 a.m., Fab shortly before 4. Although Rose and West dated for two years, our initial source tells us there’s very little awkwardness or jealousy between Rose and Melody Thornton. Kanye West has started seeing former Pussycat Dolls star Melody Thornton. The singer confirmed the romance on her blog on Saturday by posting a picture of her with the rapper and with designer Karl Lagerfeld at New York Fashion Week. ‘Can you guess which one is my new “boyfriend”?’ she writes. Kanye, 33, and Melody, 25, are thought to have been dating for a couple of weeks. (Now Magazine)
Last month, Kanye West talked with radio host Angie Martinez about his two-year run with Rose.
“Yeah man, it was an amazing time and it came to an end,” West said. “One of the greatest things that she showed me was just to be a nicer person because she was so disconnected from the concept of celebrity when I first met her…A celebrity could be talking to people crazy and everyone’s used to it at the label like, ‘He’s wildin’ out. It doesn’t matter.’ [Amber] be like, ‘What?! You just talked to your fans so crazy right now. I’m not even talking to you right now.’ … I grew from that. Details on their break-up hit the Internet in early July.
“They are still good friends,” a source tells Us. “Kanye is consumed with recording his comeback record in Hawaii and had to shut it all off. When he’s in work mode, he can’t handle a relationship. He told Amber he needs to devote everything right now to his craft…. I wouldn’t say it’s over for good [for West and Rose.] It’s always off-and-on when it’s convenient for these two. He doesn’t go out anymore and she loves it, so he lets her.” (Us Magazine)
