Iconic civil rights leader Reverend Al Sharpton isn’t keeping his lips sealed. The veteran peacemaker has come forward to speak out on meeting with jailed hip-hop star Meek Mill.
Sharpton went to Instagram moments after their sit-down and promised to make things right.
Earlier in the day, buzz developed about Sharpton coming to Meek’s defense.
Civil rights leader Reverend Al Sharpton is expected to visit Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill in a Chester, Delaware County prison on Monday. The hip hop star’s attorneys claim the judge’s sentence was too harsh, adding that the District Attorney’s office did not recommend any jail time for the probation violation. (6 ABC News)
