G-Unit boss 50 Cent is reportedly down to put together a follow-up to the box office hit Straight Outta Compton movie following a sequel denial from Universal this week.
50 assured fans he would get involved in the project on Instagram Saturday (August 22).
According to a Universal representative, there are no immediate plans for a sequel to come together.
A spiritual sequel to Straight Outta Compton featuring Tupac, Snoop Dogg, and Tha Dogg Pound sounded too good be true. At the moment, it is. A Universal spokesperson tells EW: “At this time there are no plans for a Straight Outta Compton sequel.” (Entertainment Weekly)
