While only mere speculation as of now, buzz about Washington Wizards stud John Wall possibly repping the Roc has started.

When we woke up this morning and opened up Twitter, that was one of the first things that we saw come across our feed. Late last night, Wall posed for a photo with Jay Z a short time after Roc Nation Sports announced that they had just signed C.C. Sabathia to their team. So of course, Twitter tried to put two and two together–Jay is even wearing the same outfit that he was wearing in the photo with C.C., you guys!–and say that the photo of Jay Z and Wall indicated that Wall will be signing to Roc Nation Sports soon. But we’re here to tell you…Chill. Wall could very well end up on the Roc Nation Sports team sometime in the near future. Hell, maybe it’ll even happen by next week. At this point, we think it’s safe to say that everyone is fair game, as Jay is clearly motivated to sign anyone who can help him build Roc Nation Sports into a bigger brand than it already is. Yankees’ Sabathia broke the news of his Roc Nation Sports partnership a few days ago.

“#RocNationSports La Familia pic.twitter.com/DvFKr3PpN7,” CC tweeted with a photo of himself signing paperwork alongside Jay Z. (CC Sabathia’s Twitter)

Sabathia’s Roc Nation Sports move will reunite him with former Yankees teammate Robinson Cano, who recently decided to leave New York for a mega ten-year contract.

In a stunning reversal that played out over a dozen or so dramatic hours – and with Jay Z involved, would you expect anything else? – the Mariners signed Robinson Cano to a 10-year, $240 million contract, ending his tenure with the Yankees. Talks between the two sides hit what appeared to be a major snag late Thursday night, a source said, after Cano’s camp asked for 10 years and $252 million. The Mariners had been under the impression that a nine-year, $225 million offer was going to get the deal done, leaving Seattle officials perplexed over the additional request. (New York Daily News)

Last month, Roc Nation Sports star Skylar Diggins gave props to Mr. Carter and his staff for having her back since joining last summer.

“He’s amazing and the whole Roc Nation family is amazing,” Diggs responded when asked how Jay has been as a representative. “[They’re] just people, everything they touch turns to gold and they just want to move mountains for you and it’s great working with people that you actually like. … [College gift?] I don’t know what you’re talking about. [laughs] Ha! I’m still trying to figure [the car buttons] out, to be honest. Six months in and [I’m] still trying to figure it out. [Is it outside the studio?] No, it’s not. [laughs] It’s not.” (“Crowd Goes Wild”)
