Music producer DJ Khaled is keeping busy this month after hooking up with rapper Remy Ma and has called up R&B studs Chris Brown, Jeremih and August Alsina for their new "Hold U Down."
Along with the crooners, Khaled adds a hip-hop touch courtesy of Atlanta rapper Future.
Another one. After putting it down for the streets on “They Don’t Love You No More,” DJ Khaled caters to the ladies on “Hold You Down,” the second single off his upcoming album I Changed A Lot. The We the Best boss rounds up some of R&B’s leading men for the smooth track featuring Chris Brown, August Alsina, Jeremih, and Future. Breezy promises to hold it down for his ride-or-die chick on his autobiographical verse. (Rap-Up)
Following the song’s release, Khaled unleashed its accompanying music video Monday (August 11).
It’s not often that we get an R&B posse cut, but that’s exactly what DJ Khaled delivered on his latest single, “Hold You Down,” which features Chris Brown, Future, August Alsina and Jeremih, and premiered exclusively on DJKhaled.mtv.com on Monday (August 11). The Gil Green-directed visuals have all the fixings of a proper Khaled release: beautiful weather, scantily clad women, flowing liquor, and an astounding mansion. The veteran DJ also shows off his acting chops — he’s got some memorable, somewhat hilarious lines both right at the opening and towards the end — and also plugs his new headphones. (MTV)
