[After winning big at UFC Fight Night Newark last weekend, fighter Luke Rockhold talks to SOHH about the idea of going from the caged octagon to Hollywood.]
Winning leads to all of that [Hollywood opportunity]. You gotta focus on what got you here and what’s going to get you there. As long as it doesn’t deter from my goals.
I’m here to be the best in the world. Everything else is secondary. This is my goal, this is my love, this is my passion. I’m going to follow this to the end.
If [Hollywood] doesn’t affect it, then why not? I couple of mils here and there wouldn’t hurt.
I always see guys who had a UFC career and have gone on to do great things outside of the sport. I know them and I definitely want to do well for myself after this.
I’m always interested in seeing how people make their money and what they invest in. You just gotta play it smart and make good connections along the way.
I got a long way to go. I’m only 30-years-old and I’m just coming into my prime.
