Grammy-winning singer Rihanna is not doing much to keep romance rumors out of her life as reports claim she recently cuddled up with New York rapper A$AP Rocky.
Reports claim the potential new hip-hop couple hooked up in the Big Apple earlier this week.
Rihanna sparked new buzz of a romance with A$AP Rocky when they enjoyed a low-key date at Soho House on Monday. We’re told the pair, who have dodged relationship rumors in the past, spent all night together at the Meatpacking District private members club. “They were playing pool and hanging by the stairwell,” says a spy. “They weren’t kissing or anything, but they were looking very friendly.” (New York Post)
Back in August, Rocky came forward to clear the air on dating rumors after being spotted snuggling with RiRi.
“Nah, we weren’t filming no video, we were just chillin,’ ” Lord Flacko told MTV News of the August 15 photos, despite the presence of cameras, lighting equipment and plenty of extras on what appears to be a video set. Rocky denied rumors of any romance, saying, “People crazy. You know people say a lot.” A$AP has been dating supermodel Chanel Iman — the couple even rode the subway home from Sunday’s VMAs in Brooklyn — yet even that hasn’t stopped the speculation. (MTV)
A week prior, Rihanna and A$AP reportedly shared a few intimate moments while in the Empire State.
Rihanna got up close with A$AP Rocky on set of a music video in New York on Wednesday night. It’s unknown exactly what they were shooting, but the two were spotted getting cozy on and off camera. According to photographers on set, they shared a cigarette and were seen making out at one point. Rocky was also joined on set by his A$AP Mob brothers A$AP Ferg and A$AP Illz. RiRi wore a floor-length zebra-print dress and changed into Timberlands while getting flirty with her co-star. RiRi and Rocky shared the stage at the 2012 VMAs and he opened for her on the U.S. leg of her “Diamonds World Tour.” (Rap-Up)
In April, the New York native insisted RiRi was nothing more than a good friend.
“Yeah I expected people to say that me and Rihanna were sleeping around. We’re just cool,” Rocky told MTV News while out on the set for A$AP Ferg’s “Work” remix video on April 10. “Man dudes be tryin’ to front like they tappin’ Rihanna’s [anatomy] and all that, but they don’t be hittin’ it.” “That’s really a friend. She supports me, man. She’s bringing me out, she ain’t have to do that. That girl came to my Coachella a year ago. I got nothing but love for Rih Rih, that’s the homey right there,” he continued. “I ain’t tryin’ to get in no trouble with no Rihanna rumors because I’m not f—in’ Rihanna.
