A black-and-white photo of Hit and Drizzy started circulating online this weekend.

A photo has surfaced of Drake and Hit-Boy in the studio together which hints at them collaborating on a project. There isn’t much info with the pic, but it definitely offers up excitement for fans of Drake. A photo was posted on Instagram of Drizzy in the studio with hit-making producer Hit-Boy. The hashtag #somewhereinToronto was included so it might be a hint that this is for the upcoming Nothing Was The Same album, with the HS87 artist producing, and possibly rapping. As you know, the Toronto rapper has been hard at work putting the finishing touches on the album, which has a September 17th release date, as he missed performing at the BET Awards recently to stay in TO and work on the project. Along with the duo, Drizzy’s pals Boi-1da and Noah “40” Shebib are also featured in the image.

Hit-Boy instagrammed a picture of him in the studio with a few other friends today. With a caption that read “OVOHS87 #somewhereintoronto,” the picture features Hit-Boy, Drake, 40, and Boi-1da together. While no details were divulged in the release of the picture, it’s possible that the four were cooking up some material for Drake’s upcoming Nothing Was The Same album, set to come out September 17. For now, it looks like we’ll just have to wait and see. (Complex)

In late June, Hit-Boy revealed his unexpected exit from Kanye’s camp.

“I got nothing but respect for Kanye, [but] I’m no longer a part of G.O.O.D. Music anymore. But HS87 is where my heart is, that’s what I’m reppin’,” Hit revealed. “[Anything make me leave?] No, I committed, as far as my contract, I did what I was supposed to do. I did six, seven singles for the label and I did what I was supposed to do. … I love Yeezus, I think it’s great.” (Miss Info TV)

Over the winter, Hit expressed an interest in working with pop stars like Britney Spears.

“I’m bringing my world to her world, so I’m infusing what I do in hip-hop and bringing pop elements to it. So it’s just going to be a global sound,” he told MTV News on the set of the “Scream & Shout” remix clip. “We’ve just been throwing ideas back and forth so far. So I can’t really put a number on it or anything but it’s coming together.” And despite Spears’ legend status, Hit-Boy says she doesn’t act like a diva at all. “I mean she’s actually just really nice and cool,” he revealed. “It’s nothing different than working with everyone else, just a really cool person.” (MTV)
