Coinciding with the new music video, the deluxe version of “The Lion King: The Gift” was also released on streaming services at the same time on Thursday night. The new album includes the single “Black Parade,” an extended version of it and a remix of “Find Your Way Back” featuring Melo-X. Wait, There’s More

The music video features Beyoncé in multiple spots at night surrounded by nature. She also uses the video to highlight the beauty of being Black and includes lots of celebratory dancing.

In the visually arresting new clip, Beyoncé is seen in a number of locations, moving from outdoor nature scenes where she appears adorned in body paint in a tree, to a warehouse where she’s flanked by dancers. It also features scenes of dancers from around the world interwoven throughout the clip, highlighting the upcoming film’s inspiring celebration of being Black, from its elegant choreography and fashion to the global locations. Before You Go

After mounted anticipation, Queen Bey fans can now check out her full Black Is King album on Disney Plus. The project has low-key been in the works for over an entire year.

The pop star’s highly-anticipated new album/short film is based on the music of ‘The Lion King: The Gift’, her 2019 LP inspired by Disney’s live-action version of The Lion King, which featured Queen Bey as the voice of Nala. According to Beyoncé’s production company, Parkwood Entertainment, ‘Black Is King’ has been in production for the last 12 months, and is “a celebratory memoir for the world on the black experience.” (NME)
