[After the recent release of his “Chocolate City” movie to DVD and video on-demand, Hollywood actor Robert Ri’chard talks to SOHH about putting together its sequel.]
The thing that’s so important about everyone supporting this film, we were in movie theaters, we sold out every movie theater we were in.
The DVD [came] out August 4, get that, and we’re bringing more chocolate to the world. We’re making a chocolate universe.
We’re definitely making a sequel to this film. Everybody is coming back, it’s going to be next level and you’re going to see the next great installment in the Chocolate empire.
We need Trey Songz for the sequel! I need Trey Songz and Jennifer Lopez and I need one more in the film!
There’s a lot of pressure to stay in shape especially for a movie like this. If you’re Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao, you gotta make your weight class.
So you might be walking at 175 or 180 pounds and you gotta get ripped. You have to get in your weight class.
That’s how I see it in this film. I’m about to be immortalized in this film.
So for everyone seeing “Chocolate City,” I have to be in the best shape in my life. I just got to work it out.
What’s crazy is everyone is asking about my workout. Now I have to show everybody the real workout I use to get in shape.
Everybody needs that.
