Check out what Soul said about his label status on the next page…

Over the weekend, Soul revealed the potential label-drop risk he took by releasing his “47 Bars” song.

On the song, Soul hints at possible unhappiness at TDE.

“So don’t ask me about Kendrick and Q, Jay Rock, Zaywop, and SZA’s sexy ass too,” he raps. ‘Cause I was thinking long term before I met them/ I’ve been through hell and back, I deserve heaven.” (“47 Bars”)

Last year, Ab threatened to leak his These Days… solo album.

    • Why? Then you not gonna be a fan of his, lol? News flash, all these dudes know each other. Rick Ross is probably one of the artists that people you wouldn’t even know fuck with him does because of how long he’s been in the game and all the people Tony Draper introduced him to back in the late 90’s when he was signed to Suave House. If he were to go to Maybach, it’s not going to change him as an artist, but I guess you are rooting for a team or some shit like this is the Lakers and Celtics instead of the players in the game.

  1. this nigga really think its about to happen with ross, sorry to inform you buddy its not just ask Stalley how hard that ohio flop. Plus team hopping is bad for business. They already allowed that whack ass These Days to be released! #facts #noshade

        • I know. People are talking like any other artists are even going gold today. I remember when selling a million copies was a gold record once upon a time. He’s getting half a million people to buy something that they can get for free, and he’s selling more than 90% of his peers, so I think people using that argument need to get back to the C.O. talk or something else to knock him.

        • gtfoh…
          no excuses…
im aware artists in hiphop and rnb are not selling like that…but dont say it as if its the new thing to not go plat or gold..like its cool or something

          • It is the new thing dummy..look at 2014 and see how many rnb and rap albums went gold or platinum…est. 3 maybe…then go look at 2005, then go look at 1995. Do ur research before u open ur mouth idiot. Going plat or gold dont mean shit these days.

          • im aware music isnt the same..record sales aint the same..
but to say going gold or plat don’t mean shit these days…

            you are clearly lost..fool!

          • No clearly u are lost..to artist and alike, it means nothing..u are the only dummy that cares.

          • The way he lives you’d think he sold millions. He owns one of the largest estates in Atlanta. Drives $300,000 cars. I would probably talk that way too. Lol Bawse

          • I’m glad you know his financial situation. My neighbor drives a $150k car, I’m not gonna assume he has millions.

          • Lol read my comment again. I said the same thing as you. You said he talks I said he lives it. Neither of them means he has it. Why would my knowing his situation make you glad. Maybe that’s a snide remark and an attempt at sarcasm. When put in perspective it makes no sense. BTW if my comment means I know then so would yours. Lol bloggers be blinded by hate.

          • Yeah bruh I said u would think he sold millions which is a fact his albums don’t sell millions. Good try on that long ass essay though.lol “hate”

          • Lol 8 sentences an essay? I also said you’d think he sold millions. Get it. (This comment is kept short for comprehension purposes) lol

          • And 8 sentences is way too much to put into a worldstar reply about ricky ross.

        • Neither have any of these other people either though. There are 5 or 6 platinum rap artists. However, no one can deny branding Wale, wack ass Meek Mill, and even Stalley has raised their profiles tremendously. In today’s atmosphere, I think that’s about as good as an artist can hope for when they’re on the B team like the people we’re talking about.

    • that Ohio was a nice album too……then i see Ross in every interview promoting his new album and Stalley, didnt even let Ohio breath before he dropped his own new album smh!!!

    • Nigga did u even read what he said? Might need a lawyer cause of the “cases” he was sent, aint said shit about wanting to leave. If that went over ur head the this is probably why u think these days was wack, smh.

  2. Be careful what you wish for…. Ab is nice and I respect him as an emcee but his album compared to the rest of the TDE crew (K.dot, Kendrick & Jay rock) was definitely in last place

  3. Man all y’all niggas stupid today, including Sohh. He said I might need a new lawyer referring to the “cases” that he was sent, smh

  4. stalley is nice,,just not a radio song guy,,no promo from mmg either,,,meek got more while he was locked

    • Stalley is getting what he wants out of this arrangement. Would anybody even know who he was except extreme underground fans if he wasn’t with Maybach? People talking like he’s Rocky Fresh or Fat Trell or some of those other dudes who don’t even hardly get on the features. He’s been on all of Rick Ross’ albums since he was put on the label, all the self made projects, and has a bunch of mix tape stuff. He’s touring with them and gets to go on while Rick Ross is getting called to do Patriot parties and stuff. I’d say that’s a win for somebody who would have never been heard from otherwise. People need to get perspective cause they’re talking like Stalley is being held back instead of being helped by the association.

      • I dont understand why ppl talk out they ass and dont really get it..You are 100% right. stalley really dont wanna be a superstar..nigga get his show money, lil fame, and invest and buy fly shit and get paid to do songs on first take for espn. You think he complainin lol.

  5. Ab walkin round disgruntled all the time … Seen like Maybe if he applied himself more

  6. Where’s that Unit 6 Ab’? Not to mention Long Term 3… You’re waay capable of dropping better music than your These Days album, show and prove.
