A$AP Mob's A$AP Rocky recently dished on his rumored relationship with model Chanel Iman and revealed they called it quits last summer.
Rocky called Iman more than just a friend and explained the importance of seeing her happy.
“That’s my best friend,” Rocky said right off the bat. “You’ve gotta be mature, to be in this type of predicament and have a relationship. I never really talk about these kinda things, about her, and she never really talks about me so I’m not really gonna say much on the subject but she’s happy and thats all I want — I want her to be happy.” (MTV)

Rocky also revealed their relationship came to a sudden end last summer.
“Me and Chanel broke up in June and I got really depressed, because I knew that she deserves better than me,” he admitted. “And that’s the truth. Everybody knows it. I don’t wanna be the guy to Lauryn Hill her — if you know what I’m saying. I love her so much that I would rather not be with her, than hurt her.” (MTV)
Recently, A$AP talked about Chanel’s close-knit relationship to late A$AP Mob founder A$AP Yams.
They all went to Woodhull Medical Center, where Rocky was met by his ex-girlfriend, the model Chanel Iman. “They were tight,” he said. “She really took it hard, man. She was crying more than me.” (New York Times)
Buzz behind Rocky and Chanel’s breakup bubbled online last October.
“They are no longer together. This happened about a few weeks ago,” a source told E! News exclusively. “It was just not working out with both of their busy travel schedules.” The source added, “Time away from each other played a big part in the breakup.” (E! Online)

He’s referring to what most people consider was the reason for Lauryn Hill “going crazy”/her decline/the period of time when she seemed to have lost her mind/ — which was that Rohan Marley (her man at the time) was driving her up the wall. He’s basically trying to say that he doesn’t want to drive her crazy by having her in a relationship with him while he’s doggin her the fxck out. As a sidenote — them Marleys don’t play when it comes to knockin pxssy down..

I haven’t been a fan of A$AP Rocky for about 2 years, he very ignorant. He need to comment about his relationship and stay out of Lauryn Hill’s Business. Her ex-hboyfriend treated her very well, and had his own successful company. He even wanted to marry Mrs. Hill.Mental illness in the black community is something not really talked about, she was born with it. Nobody made Hill crazy. So people like A$AP Rocky need to stop pretending that they know something about somebody’s elses relationship, when they never meet a day in their lives. He need to stop getting his celebrity news off of Mediatakeout.

not sure if shes mentally ill or the industry got to her. i remember in an interview her saying something to the extent of she didnt even want to be near her kids or do motherly duties for a time while she was performing or on tour.
when you say her ex boyfriend, you mean the father of her kids that was already married the whole time and is now back with said wife i believe?
i agree he shouldnt have brought her up, mind his own business and black community needs to talk more and get more treatment for mental illness. just not sure youre accurate when referring to Ms Hill!
