A$AP Mob’s A$AP Rocky recently came forward to speak out on making headlines earlier this year for a publicized altercation with a London man.

According to Rocky, the incident stemmed from being attacked with a pastry during a taxi drive.

While in a bagel shop on Brick Lane in east London he got into an altercation over a pastry and an Uber taxi. “I was being an a**hole. If I’d have hit that guy I wouldn’t have been able to go back to the UK,” he says, reflecting: “I’ve got so many good things going on in my life, why would I run back into a bagel shop after a dude threw a pastry at my Uber?” (The Guardian)

Footage from the near-physical encounter surfaced across the Internet back in April.

“What’s up? Should I snuff you right now? What’s good? I don’t give a f*ck n*gga, what’s up?! What’s up? Don’t throw sh*t at my car. You don’t know me n*gga! F*ck outta here, n*gga! I’ll f*ck you up, n*gga! P*ssy n*gga. I love London! I love London. I love London. I love London. Have respect, n*gga. Whatchu mean? I got weight, n*gga! See me? What the f*ck is you talking about? Man, you p*ssy too!” (YouTube)

In early June, Rocky’s new A.L.L.A. album managed to topple its competition on the sales chart.

Rapper A$AP Rocky claims his second No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart, as At.Long.Last.A$AP bows atop the tally. The set, which was released on May 26, moved 146,000 equivalent album units in the week ending May 31, according to Nielsen Music. The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week based on multi-metric consumption, which includes traditional album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). One-day estimates had the LP expected to sell at least 110,000 copies.

A$AP Rocky will debut at #1 next week on both our sales and SPS charts following the release of his At.Long.Last.A$AP a week ahead of schedule. Here are this week’s key debuts.

  1. I just seen this n!&&a at the Wireless Festival. This was my 2nd time seeing him there. Both times he had a boring dry azz performance…..I hope he reads this and changes up his stage presence instead cursing every 15 seconds…
