A$AP Mob leader A$AP Rocky has stepped forward to put an end to the drama he sparked following a physical altercation overseas this week.
Rocky addressed his publicized elevator incident and explained why legal ramifications did not follow.
The 27-year-old rapper says he was in an elevator with some women and his “security,” when a man tried to ride with them. When they refused to let him on, a scuffle followed. No one in his party was hurt. “We didn’t press no charges on nobody. They didn’t press any charges on us. Everybody good,” he told the AP by phone. (Billboard)
Rocky downplayed the seriousness of the assault and poked fun at it on Twitter early Thursday (February 25) on Twitter.

Details of the physical altercation emerged online late Wednesday (February 24).
According to sources way down under … A$AP was at the Pullman Hotel in Auckland around 3 AM local time. He has a concert there Thursday night. We’re told he was getting into an elevator with some girls, and 3 guys wanted to get in also — but A$AP told ’em there was no room left, and then it was on. We’re told the guys jumped the rapper, punching him in the head and face … while he tried to protect the girls. (TMZ)
