A$AP Mob is going to need another way to remember A$AP Yams. The annual Yams Day concert ended last night (January 18) prematurely after violence ultimately forced an early shut down.

According to reports, a backstage brawl at the Bronx, New York event ended the night.

Yams Day 2018 was supposed to be about celebrating the life of A$AP Yams, the A$AP Mob co-founder who passed away in 2015 from a drug overdose at the ripe age of 26. Instead, violence erupted during the Thursday night (January 18) show and the Bronx event was prematurely shut down. (HHDX)

Rap rookie Tekashi 6ix 9ine has come forward to speak out on the scrapped event and address a stabbing rumor.

Rap personality DJ Akademiks made sure to cover the festivities from Yams Day 2018.

This month, hype mounted for the star-studded Yams Day 2018 line-up.
