“A Psychic Told Me [Ja Rule’s] Gonna Have Trouble In There”

Even with his rap nemesis behind bars, rap star 50 Cent has wasted no timing taking shots at Ja Rule just a week after beginning a two-year jail sentence.

In addition to predicting Rule’s career is over, 50 said the rapper may run into trouble behind bars.

“When you destroy something, you’re supposed to destroy it completely,” 50 told radio personality Funkmaster Flex. “Now he’s gone, now he’s gone completely. I even know what joint he in. He’s up in — I don’t want to say that, because a psychic told me he’s gonna have some trouble in there. Yeah, I heard that, but that’s when you put your ear on the street and you hear things.” (In Flex We Trust)

Prior to beginning his bid last week, Rule blamed 50’s G-Unit brand for hurting hip-hop.

“I do miss the old days because before the whole beef thing, we all used to get together, have softball games, and bond together,” Rule explained in an interview. “I think that camaraderie got closer after Big and Pac passed, and I think we made a conscious effort as hip-hop artists to try and be better with each other. That era was great and then the G-Unit era came in and was built on so much hate, anger, and jealousy that I think it put everybody in that space, even the fans. And then all of a sudden, it wasn’t fun no more. The whole aura changed. You’d get artists that followed that come up like, ‘Wow, that sh*t worked for him. I’m gonna start a beef with such and such.’ The whole vibe of hip-hop went dark.” (Rap-Up)

In May, Rule said despite his past problems with 50, he no longer holds any grudges toward him.

“It’s resolved now. I’m cool,” Rule promised in an interview. “We ain’t beefing no more…We’ll never collaborate. That’s just what it is. You don’t have to be at war with somebody, but it’s also kind of like U.S. and another country that may not get along with. We don’t gotta go to war, but we’re not friends either. But we can coincide inside of that world. He’s doing him, and he’s not thinking about me, and I’m doing me and I’m not thinking about him.” (The Life Files)

Around March, 50 attacked the rapper’s image on Twitter after his tax debt records leaked online.

“D*mn you don’t want to pay taxes fool. Take 3 more years hahaha. Oh sh*t I’m crying LMAO,” 50 tweeted Wednesday (March 23).

“Lol RT @YouCantBSerious: Ja Rule pleads guilty to tax evasion aww this is the biggest headline for Ja since @50cent destroyed his career.”

“LMAO RT @Reg_GThisis69: I know @50cent is laughing his a** off at Jeffrey” (50 Cent’s Twitter)

Ja Rule is currently serving a two-year jail sentence on a gun conviction.
