According to reports, Mane pleaded guilty and received a three-year sentence Monday (September 15) for his March 16, 2013 Atlanta nightclub attack.

Authorities have said the man approached Davis and was looking to have his picture taken with him. Prosecutors say the fan was an Army staff sergeant in town on a brief military leave. Authorities have said the man suffered a deep cut which required 10 stitches. Spokeswoman Yvette Jones says Davis’s three-year sentence will be served concurrently with a 39-month federal firearms sentence that he was given in late August. (Fox News)

Gucci initially received some good news right here…

Recent reports revealed Gucci had had a full year carved off a prior sentence.

According to court docs … after initially ruling against Gucci, an Atlanta judge has finally given the rapper the year’s worth of credit for time served he’s earned since his arrest for gun possession last September. His 39-month sentence was originally scheduled to begin August 2014 when the judge made his ruling … but now that sentence will begin at the time of his arrest. He’s scheduled to be released in December 2016. (TMZ)

The incarcerated rapper received his hefty sentence on a gun conviction last month.

Rapper Gucci Mane was sentenced Wednesday to serve three years and three months in prison after pleading guilty to a federal firearms charge several months ago. U.S. District Judge Steve C. Jones told Davis he’s heard from his nieces and nephews that the rapper is a talented musician with a potentially bright future and warned him not to squander that. “You’re still a young man, and you can still do a lot if you follow and abide by the law,” Jones said. Earlier this summer, Gucci announced plans to release new music through September.

“Eh man, it’s Big Gucci, what’s happening? I make music, I make money, I make enemies but my fans made me the Trap God. Big Guwop. 1017. 2014. We’re still running the streets. June 17, the empire’s declaring war. World War 3D the series. Three albums in one day. The Green Album by the Migos. The Purple Album by Young Thug and The White Album with PeeWee Longway. … July 4, we’re dropping Trap House 4 and September 13 I’m dropping Trap God 3. I’m locked up but still run the streets from jail.” (1017 Records)

For those who don’t know the law,” concurrent” means all charges/cases combined.

basically he is still getting out the same time. He just had to go back to court for this case
