G-Unit head 50 Cent's Street King Immortal may be suffering a serious setback as new music from the New York rap star has leaked online.
According to reports, one of Fif’s Alex Da Kid-produced tracks has leaked online.
It has been a while since fans have heard new music from 50 Cent. The G-Unit general holds no prisoners on his latest gritty offering, “Warning You.” The rapper-mogul reminds listeners he’ll never lose on the Alex Da Kid-produced cut, which features timid vocals from singer-songwriter Skylar Grey. While no updated news has been given about his forthcoming Street King Immortal album, hopefully some confirmed details arrives soon. (Miss Info TV)
Curtis Jackson has already hopped onto his Twitter page to address the leak.
“Damn I may have lost this ALBUM SH!t leaking off my old drive. This is crazy. #smsaudio,” Fif tweeted September 5.
“Look it’s ever were a joint I did called DON’T TURN ON ME. it out now titled I’m warning you #smsaudio”
“That was a joint I did over a year ago in Detroit with EM. I hope nothing else got out. #smsaudio” (50 Cent’s Twitter)
Video footage of Fif previewing four unreleased tracks started to make its rounds online last month.
50 Cent went live on Hang With app earlier in the evening today and previewed about 5-6 new songs. 50 was in a good mood as he played the songs back to back and also gave short commentary on some of them. He mentioned that they may not make the cut on his forthcoming album Street King Immortal as they were songs he had just laying around. Here are rips of 4 of the tracks he played. Enjoy! (HHNM)
Recently, Fif revealed his disinterest in rushing out the delayed Street King Immortal album.
“I don’t really need the money off of the record. I want the record to be right. I’m not doing it without a plan; I’m not putting it out like that,” 50 told MTV News about his long-awaited fifth studio album. The multiplatinum rap king points to his label Interscope and says he won’t make a move until the record company is ready. “It’s a lot of staff changes, a lot of different people moving in and moving out, so you got to kind of wait until everything’s right; until it’s settled in,” he reasoned.
