New York rapper 50 Cent might wanna call up Dr. Phil. The hip-hop heavyweight’s son Marquise Jackson has dropped a new song and makes an ample reference to his pops.
Marquise’s debut single, “Different,” features him showcasing his vocal skills and referencing Curtis.
“Lost my pops, he’s still alive,” raps Jackson. “Growing up, my dad was my superhero,” he says, reflecting on the lyric. “It was like having a father who was Superman, more or less. But then, as I got older, you start realizing things or you start seeing certain patterns and it takes an effect on your relationship with people. That’s what happened with me and my father.” (Rap-Up)

Coincidentally, Marquise recently asked social media followers to stop trying to force a reunion with him and 50.
Back in October, 50 and Marquise traded shots with one another on social media.
A few days prior, Marquise’s mom Shaniqua Tompkins blasted her former flame and singled out his past publicized bankruptcy woes.
