As part of the partnership, the G-Unity Foundation, a non-profit organization founded by the rapper-turned-mogul, will host two community basketball clinics throughout the season. These clinics will provide an opportunity for young basketball enthusiasts in the local community to receive coaching and training from professional players and coaches associated with the Timberwolves.
In addition to the basketball clinics, the partnership will also bring on a content series focusing on local minority-owned businesses. The series will aim to highlight and promote these businesses and their contributions to the community. This initiative is particularly significant as it provides a platform for these often-underrepresented businesses to gain greater exposure and recognition.
This partnership follows a similar collaboration between the Houston Rockets and 50 Cent’s brand, Sire Spirits.
