High-Key Details

50 Cent isn’t the only one poking fun at Durant. The Internet has already went off on KD with playful jokes about his current condition.

Wait, There’s More

Kevin’s Brooklyn Nets have already issued a statement on the situation. KD and three other infected teammates are expected to remain isolated during their quarantine.

The organization is currently notifying anyone who has had known contact with the players, including recent opponents, and is working closely with state and local health authorities on reporting. All players and members of the Nets travel party are being asked to remain isolated, closely monitor their health and maintain constant communication with team medical staff. The health of our players and staff is of the highest priority to the organization and the team is doing everything within its power to ensure that those affected receive the best care possible. Before You Go

According to reports, the NBA team had tests performed last weekend. However, results took 72 hours to come back.

The Nets paid a private company to conduct the tests for team members,  Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. The tests were conducted on Saturday, but results were not available until Tuesday, Greg Logan of Newsday reports. The organization is now going through the process of notifying anyone who had contact with the players over the past two weeks, including other teams. Since March 3, Brooklyn has played the Boston Celtics, Memphis Grizzlies, San Antonio Spurs, Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Lakers. (CBS Sports)
