Fif posted videos and addressed his headline-generating pitch via his Instagram page.

“I’m a hustler not a Damn ball player. LMAO #smsaudio #animalambition,” Fif captioned behind home plate.

Local New York media outlets took note of Fif’s throwing arm last night (May 27).

Baba Booey is off the hook. Rapper 50 Cent threw out what could be considered the worst ceremonial first pitch in the history of Citi Field, surpassing the Howard Stern producer for that subjective honor. And by quite a large margin. The Queens rapper took the rubber before Mets-Pirates on Tuesday night. Throwing left-handed, 50 Cent launched one way wide of Mets catcher Anthony Recker. A New York reporter also poked fun at the mega rap star’s first pitch.

Later on, 50 said the bad pitch was actually the work of his alter ego — birth name Curtis Jackson. “50 Cent is the best,” he told SNY reporter Kevin Burkhardt during an interview in the fourth inning. “Curtis Jackson, I don’t know what’s the matter with him.” (NY Daily News)

The New York native revealed he would be more than a spectator at a Mets game last week.

“Throwing out the first pitch at the @Mets game on MAY 27 . be there This is gonna be good. #SMSAUDIO pic.twitter.com/LV2anio7iT,” 50 tweeted with a photo of the Mets’ CitiField stadium. (50 Cent’s Twitter)
