New York rapper 50 Cent isn’t down to play by the rules Instagram has in place. The hip-hop veteran has come forward to share his issues with the digital powerhouse over a recent trolling post.
50 Cent Ditches Instagram
On Friday, the G-Unit boss went to Instagram to call out the platform. Fifty questioned why it shut down one of his posts making fun of a woman twerking and said he would hop off the social media giant.
“I don’t understand this, why am i getting this? it says the post is removed for bullying 👀but the post is still on my page. ok time to take a break from IG” -50 Cent’s Instagram
Fifty’s since-deleted post took aim at a woman twerking. He used his trolling powers to make a statement about adult premium subscription service OnlyFans.
“👀wait so only fans means retarded hoe’s? 🤷🏽♂️Im trying to keep up with the slang guys. no 🧢😟 … i just figured it out she is training, for a top secret mission. 😟” -50 Cent’s Instagram
Wait, There’s More
A few days ago, 50 came forward to publicly apologize to rap star Megan Thee Stallion. Fifty admitted he used an Instagram meme to poke fun at her recent near-death shooting injury.
“D*mn I didn’t think this sh*t was real,🤦♂️It sounded so crazy @theestallion i’m glad your feeling better and i hope you can accept my apology. I posted a meme that was floating around. I wouldn’t have done that if i knew you was really hurt sorry. 🤷🏽♂️” -50 Cent’s Instagram
Before You Go
Heading into summer, the rap star shared his issues with Instagram. 50 blamed Instagram bots for making him want to go on a break and rely on Twitter to connect with fans.
Earlier in the week, 50 accused Instagram of shadow banning his content. He specifically noted the lack of growth in followers.
“I have been shadow banned this page has been stuck at 25 million for a year. Smh 😏but i’m every where so i don’t care.” -50 Cent’s Instagram
Just in case you need a breakdown on how serious a shadow ban is and why 50 Cent might really have a big problem on his hands, take a look at this clip below.
