New York rapper 50 Cent‘s house manager didn’t take any chances during last week’s house burglary. The 911 call has emerged online and reveals dicey details in the crime.
In the audio clip, Fif’s employee is heard frantically describing the burglary to an operator.
Fiddy’s house manager told the dispatcher a burglar was on the property going door-to-door — it’s a massive spread — looking for a way inside. He said he didn’t have eyes on the perp anymore, because he’d fled the home for his own safety. The manager said the guy had a black bag … he didn’t know what was in it, but knew he had nothing to protect himself. (TMZ)
A few nights ago, Fif acknowledged the headline-generating drama.
According to initial reports, the suspect almost immediately landed in police handcuffs.
Elwin Joyce, 34, of Windsor, Conn., was arrested for the break-in after on-site security alerted authorities of an intruder on the property. Joyce was charged with second-degree burglary, second-degree criminal trespass, third-degree criminal mischief, criminal attempt to commit sixth-degree larceny and possession of burglary tools. He is currently being held on $100,000 bond. (NY Daily News)
Earlier the same day, details surfaced about the failed Connecticut mansion crime.
Several marked and unmarked police vehicles were in the driveway and on the street Tuesday afternoon outside the Farmington, CT spread. Sources connected to Fiddy tell us police were alerted by someone on the property. It’s unclear if anything was taken … or if anyone’s been arrested. We’re told 50 Cent was not home at the time. One possible reason for so many cops responding — the place covers a ton of ground … 50,000 sq. feet for the home on 17 acres of land. (TMZ)
