“I will not let you down.I have really been working on this album. STREET KING IMMORTAL will be a classic. SMSaudio,” Fif tweeted Tuesday (November 27).

A few weeks ago, Curtis Jackson explained his LP’s initial mid-November pushback.

“Yeah, Street King Immortal. The actual album, it was scheduled to release November 13th, but we had to move the date,” Fif said in an interview from Paris, France. “For this album, it’s already been a year late. It’s usually two years in my cycle that I go because I release the record and then I spend a whole year after touring and then I go again. So on this actual cycle it was actually a lot longer because it’s the final album requirement for Interscope and we went through an audit type of situation until we got it all cleared up and now everybody’s ready to work, so it’s ready to come out. I finished it. I’m comfortable with the actual record, I feel it’s arguable as good if not better than what I did in the beginning with Get Rich and The Massacre. But you know, I’ve learned to adjust pretty well to people judging me as an artist and people look at the material and try to be critics more than fans. But I’m my biggest critic.” (Money Bags Blake)

In the past, the G-Unit general blamed internal issues with label Interscope Records for slowing down its release.

As far as his next solo LP, the one that has been talked about since he released Before I Self Destruct in 2009, 50 is looking for an end-of-the-year drop now that he has cleared up all issues with Interscope. “They’re in full support of me now. We cleared up audit issues. That’s always an issue, when you get to the final album or the final requirement you end up going through the books with everything that you’ve done,” he said. “Once those things are resolved, everyone is ready to get back to work, and that’s where we’re at.” (MTV)

Last night, 50 performed his new “My Life” Street King Immortal single on reality television show “The Voice.”

Well tonight The Voice viewers got a real treat as 50 Cent and Adam Levine joined forces to perform live 50 Cent’s recent hit “My Life”. As if watching sexy Adam Levine live on The Voice each week were not enough, to watch him perform on stage a song which has only just released this week is just about more than all us swooning fan girls can take! The Hip-hop giant 50 Cent’s latest release featuring Eminem and Maroon 5‘s frontman Adam Levine has some pretty incredible and keepin’ it real lyrics as it paints a picture of the pitfalls of fame and the desire to escape the larger than life image one’s life has become.
