Despite a nasty publicized feud over the past couple years, Fif now insists Intercope is fully backing his music.

As far as his next solo LP, the one that has been talked about since he released Before I Self Destruct in 2009, 50 is looking for an end-of-the-year drop now that he has cleared up all issues with Interscope. “They’re in full support of me now. We cleared up audit issues. That’s always an issue, when you get to the final album or the final requirement you end up going through the books with everything that you’ve done,” he said. “Once those things are resolved, everyone is ready to get back to work, and that’s where we’re at.” (MTV)

Last week, Fif announced he would sideline his official Interscope Records solo album through the fall.

“The appetizer is coming tomorrow 5 murder numbers,” he tweeted early Tuesday (July 3).

Back in January, the G-Unit leader briefly discussed his issues with Interscope.

“I wrote this album. I went through the process of writing it. It’s been discouraging at points to not see the same efforts from everyone,” 50 said when asked about his label frustrations and perceived depression. “As far as me partnering with Feeding America for this actual project, the business model that I adapted was — conscious capitalism. [New album this year?] Hopefully.” (CES)

He previously issued an open apology for going off on Interscope over an unauthorized leak.

“Discovered a computer glitch leaked my song. Sorry to team at interscope for over reacting!,” he tweeted January 8th.

“I put a lot in to this project but I don’t care if it ever comes out. Jimmy iovine has been like a mentor for me. I just want to stay friends” (50 Cent’s Twitter)
