G-Unit boss 50 Cent reminded fans how much of a close-knit bond he shares with retired boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. this week.
Fif shared some pics of himself and Floyd on Instagram Monday (May 23).
Recently, 50 spoke out on Floyd likely coming out of his retirement.
“Floyd and I are really good friends, but we argue like regular people argue. The difference is when we have disputes, it winds up on CNN or Instagram. I can cuss him out, call him names, say whatever I want to him, but he’s my little brother. Every fighter says he’s going to retire—what’s left when you fight the biggest, most highly anticipated fight? But I do think he’ll fight again.” (Vanity Fair)
Earlier this month, Floyd talked about possibly lacing up his gloves to fight UFC champion Conor McGregor.
“It’s really not a rumor. The fight may happen. We really don’t know, as of right now. As of right now. But do I think the fight will happen? Absolutely. We’re the A-side, of course. It has to be a boxing match, because most fights that Conor McGregor won inside the Octagon, he was a stand-up guy. So I’m pretty sure it’s gonna be a tough fight for me. We really don’t know as of right now, but there’s been a lot of talk, and hopefully we can make the fight happen.” (Bad Left Hook)
