4. It had been rocky way before that, though.
Several years before their main split, they had another big dispute. In 2008 the two stars physically exchanged punches, which was followed by a 50 claim that “Floyd is no longer undefeated”. It was apparently over a gambling transaction gone askew, and this turned out to be a pretty accurate foreshadowing that if there’s money involved, they shouldn’t be together. Promoters Alki David and Damon Feldman later offered $5 million for the pair to take it to the ring, but it never happened.
