G-Unit head 50 Cent has come to former rap rival Jay Z's defense amid recent disses shot at him from professional boxer Adrien Broner.
Approached by paparazzi this past weekend, 50 scolded Broner for going at Young Hov.
“That wasn’t a good idea to say that,” 50 said when told Broner dissed Jay for being offered $40 million ot join Roc Nation Sports. “40 million, he should take it.” (TMZ Sports)

Following his publicized disses, Broner eventually came forward to apologize.
Broner says he spoke with someone he refers to as “The Big Homie” — who explained why he was wrong to go after Jay and RiRi … and now he wants to make things right. “I’m a man at the end of the day,” Broner says … “I’m wrong and i can admit when I’m wrong.” As for his explanation, Broner says … “You never invite another man to another man’s private part. That’s just ridiculous.” (TMZ)
Last week, Broner ripped Jigga over an undisclosed offer to join his Roc Nation Sports team.
Adrien just appeared on “TMZ Hollywood Sports” and skewered the hop-hop mogul/sports titan for offering him a paltry $40 mil for 5 years. Adrien reaffirmed his directive that Jay could “suck my ****.” Going after Jay Z takes balls, but he got even ballsier when he went after another Roc Nation client, Rihanna, whom he says could go f herself, adding the only thing she’s good for is p****. Jay Z launched his new Throne Boxing event last week in New York City.
While boxer and the rapper may now work together, clearly they are friends as well as they both could not stop laughing as they watched the fight.
The stars turned out to celebrate Jay’s big night including his biggest musical talent Rihanna and also actor Jake Gyllenhaal. Noticeably absent was Jay Z’s wife Beyonce who must have decided to stay home with their little one Blue Ivy. (Daily Mail)
