Rap executive 50 Cent's past issues with renowned television mogul Oprah Winfrey appear to be long gone as the G-Unit general is slated to appear on her upcoming "Next Chapter" show.

According to the show’s description, Fif and Winfrey will finally meet face-to-face when “Next Chapter” airs Sunday (June 10).

It’s been nearly three years since the death of her father, Michael Jackson. Oprah visits with Paris Jackson. Then, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson is one of the most successful and controversial rappers ever. After years of feud rumors between him and Oprah, she sits down with him for the first time from his grandmother’s home. (Oprah)

Back in March, Fif hinted at his initial problems with Winfrey.

50 was back to chat with the ladies of “The View” on Friday. The hip-hop tycoon, whose empire is reportedly worth over $200 million, sat down on the couch with Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, and Sherri Shepherd to discuss love, philanthropy, and his dog Oprah. A dapper Curtis provided the male perspective on love. “When a man says I love you the first time, he means this really feels good,” he said. “It’s such a big commitment. It does mean something.” He also explained why he named his dog after Oprah Winfrey. “It started out negative ’cause I thought Oprah didn’t like hip-hop culture,” said Fif. “I got the dog and now I love Oprah.” (Rap-Up)

Back in 2006, he said Oprah did not treat rappers fairly on her now-defunct “Oprah Winfrey” show.

He usually saves his beefs for other rappers; this time, 50 Cent is going after Oprah Winfrey. In an interview with The Associated Press, 50 complained that Winfrey rarely invites rappers on her talk show: “I think she caters to older white women.” “Oprah’s audience is my audience’s parents,” the 29-year-old rapper said. “So, I could care less about Oprah or her show.” (CBS News)

In summer 2010, the platinum-selling rapper made headlines for introducing the world to Oprah, the dog.

That’s right, sometime around one in the afternoon yesterday, Fiddy officially ran out of things to occupy his time, as that’s when the Twitter page for Oprah Winfrey (OprahTheDog) first leapt to life. Oprah, you see, is the rapper’s dog (with the Twitpics to prove it) and while the pooch seems to share its owner’s affinity for foul-mouthed smack talk, the whole of her ire seems directed to 50 Cent, sparking one of the more bizarre Twitter feuds, well, ever, and one that’s no doubt sent Freud rolling over in his grave. In delight. (E! Online)
