G-Unit boss 50 Cent felt the wrath of TV executives’ muscle on his hit “Power” series. New reports claim Fif had his request to cast R&B singer Chris Brown shut down. [PEEP SOHH’S POWER EP. 7 RECAP!]
According to reports, “Power” execs did not green light Fif’s plea to have Brown star in the must-watch TV series.
A source close to Brown told us, “50 promised Chris a big role on ‘Power,’ playing a drug dealer. But 50 didn’t consult the network first, and execs were not happy when they found out about it.” The source continued, “The network insisted that Chris’ casting was not going to happen, because of fears about his anger issues. There was a big blowup, and they had to tell Chris he was not going to get the role. The news was delivered to him early Monday. He was livid.” (Page Six)
Model Amber Rose recently revealed why she turned down an opportunity to star in 50’s hit series.
“Can I tell you a funny story about 50 Cent? He asked me to do ‘Power’ so I was like, ‘Let me get with my team, figure out my schedule.’ He was like, ‘You got 60 seconds to answer me or you don’t get the job.’ I said, ‘B*tch, who the f*ck do you think you’re talking to?
