New York rapper 50 Cent is giving fans a reason to get really excited about the start of "Power" season six. The hip-hop veteran has announced the series' spin-off is set to premiere immediately after the initial run ends.
Fif went to Instagram last night to break the big news to “Power” fans.
Earlier this summer, everyone from executive producer 50 Cent to show creator Courtney Kemp have weighed-in on Mary J. Blige joining the series’ spin-off.
A few weeks ago, Kemp broke the massive spin-off news to media outlets and teased details about what’s to come.
The series will “continue the journey” of some of the show’s “most controversial characters,” Kemp revealed. Blige then joined Kemp and the cast on stage in a surprise appearance. “This is probably the most exciting thing that’s going to happen to me this year,” said Blige. “I’ve been a fan of ‘Power’ since the very beginning and I want to thank Courtney Kemp and 50 Cent for starting this conversation with me.” (Variety)
Back in May, everyone in “Power” from on-screen star Omari “Ghost” Hardwick to Naturi Naughton weighed-in on the series wrapping up with season six.
