G-Unit boss 50 Cent has stepped forward to speak out on ex-group member Game hooking up with protégé Lloyd Banks this week.
During a Shade 45 radio interview Friday (February 19), 50 explained his stance following the pic going viral on social media.
“He called me ahead of the photograph,” 50 said referring to Banks. “And I listened to him, heard everything he was saying, and was like, ‘OK, cool.’ I don’t have passion for the situation, I don’t wake up with those intentions. I’m doing other sh*t. So when you look at it and go, when you see people say, ‘I wonder what 50 thinks,’ and I go, ‘I don’t think it matters as much, how I feel about it.’ Well [G-Unit affiliate Lodi] Mack is dead, how does he feel about it? And process is not Game’s doing – far from that. But an association, it turns into something moving for someone who has been on the other side with [jailed music executive] Jimmy Henchman. It’s not East Coast West Coast, it’s East Coast East Coast and it turns into something else. In those situations, you go and look. I’m not alright with someone playing with someone’s kids. To be honest with you, I just spanked what’s his name [Rick Ross] for that, for playing around with my little boy. But if I go somewhere with you and we’re together, you wrong. I’m still with you. He is referring to Winslow from Slowbucks here. The guy he had beat down and robbed for his chain on his stage at Summer Jam 2014 after taking pictures with Marquise and Trav.
Yup……And I’m quite sure a grown ass man doesn’t have to call another grown ass man and ask if it’s ok to take a picture with another grown ass man. I really hope that wasn’t the case and I think 50 just saying that to save face.
