[In less than 24 hours, video gamers will unite to watch the Call of Duty Worldwide Reveal livestream announcement of its upcoming WWII title. With our minds going rampant, here’s five things we’re pulling to have revealed at 1 PM EST. Peep ’em below!]
1. A Return To The Norm

There’s nothing more fun than going into outer space, taking down aliens and using jetpacks or jet boots – or is there? Let’s face it, the past few Call of Duty titles have been awesome – to say the least – but the franchise has grown a bit too big and all too soon. With Call of Duty: WWII, we’re pulling for that original feeling of taking real-life bad guys out on the ground and in more realistic settings.
2. A Notable (Celebrity) Enemy

While we’ve had the likes of celebrities ranging from Ice Cube and Kevin Spacey to MMA’s Conor McGregor and Marshawn Lynch gracing blockbuster titles, it feels like there’s still one massive celebrity needed for this franchise. Each year keeps getting better and better with celebrity endorsements but could WWII bring out an iconic celebrity villain – Morgan Freeman, Al Pacino maybe even Tom Cruise?
3. Real Historical References
Tune in now for a greeting from @GlenSchofield! And make sure to catch our worldwide reveal on 4.26 at 10AM PDT. https://t.co/urUxbvRK6j pic.twitter.com/pv6eW61xB5

Let’s stick to the script and real-life experiences from WWII. While Quentin Tarantino’s Inglorious Bastards stretched the World War II truth out a bit, the heart of the story remained true to form. Let’s get some serious connections to real-life things we’ve only read about in history class go down in this upcoming title.
4. Release Date
Michael Condrey from @SHGames has a message for you. Keep your eyes peeled for more intel on 4.26. https://t.co/S2X2XRopej

It almost seems silly to say but there cannot be a new Call of Duty: WWII announcement without having a solid release date. The retail biz is all about teasing fans but when it comes to the video game industry, we’re going to need a real countdown for this title. A release date is a must!
5. An Intense Movie-Like Trailer
Call of Duty: WWII takes the series back to its roots. Here's a brief history of Call of Duty and World War II. https://t.co/8BsFJPJNx9 pic.twitter.com/Bwvox2nF4e

The fifth biggest thing we’re hoping for is an insane trailer we’ll keep replaying and replaying and replaying possibly until the game’s release date! It’s one thing to announce celebrities, release dates and mention great graphics but if we don’t get a sneak peek at this new title, it’ll be a total let down!
Call of Duty returns to its World War II roots with Call of Duty: WWII, developed by Sledgehammer Games. More details are incoming during the game’s Worldwide Reveal livestream on Wednesday, April 26 featuring Sledgehammer Games co-studio heads and founders Michael Condrey and Glen Schofield. Fans will be able to tune in to get a first look at Call of Duty: WWII and get intel on the studio’s vision for the game.
