Although brief with his words, Game did not show any signs of lacking confidence if and when he does take part in a BET cypher.

“One day I’m gone join one of them lil BET cyphers & f*ck everybody up !!! #Hurricane,” Game tweeted October 15. (Game’s Twitter)

This year’s BET Hip Hop Awards Cypher featured a wide-range of hip-hop artists.

I think it’s safe to say that one of the best parts about the BET Hip Hop Awards are the cyphers right? Well, this year might just take the crown for the best line-up yet. With the likes of Slaughterhouse, TDE, ASAP Mob, Action Bronson, Travis Scott, Jon Connor, Lil Kim, and many more to take the mic, we really are in for a lyrical treat here. Let’s not forget that DJ Premier is on the boards as well. (Hot New Hip Hop)

A few nights ago, A Tribe Called Quest’s Q-Tip acknowledged Kendrick Lamar‘s televised freestyle.

“This n*gga Kendrick incredible,” Tip tweeted October 15. (Q-Tip’s Twitter)

K. Dot did not hold back and delivered the fury with his bars.

Ever since a preview clip of his verse at the BET Hip-Hop Awards surfaced earlier this month, perhaps the most anticipated part of the ceremony has been Kendrick Lamar’s cypher in which he purportedly calls out Drake. Now that the full cypher has aired, it’s clear Lamar pulled no punches in his verse. “Nothing’s been the same since they dropped ‘Control’/ And tucked a sensitive rapper back in his pajama clothes,” the Compton rapper spat. “Your sh*t never penetrates/ Pin the tail on the donkey, boy you been a fake.” In the full two-minute cypher (part of a larger segment with Top Dawg Entertainment), Kendrick established his dominance over the rest of the pack. “I’m the master that masturbated on your favorite emcee,” he rapped shortly after the beginning of his verse after cheers were heard from the ceremony’s crowd.
