J. Cole might be taking a rest from shows, but his Dreamville signee Bas has blowing up in the meantime. The Queens rapper successfully released his second album earlier this year, Too High To Riot. Since popping onto the scene, Bas has built himself a huge following of ‘fiends.’
SOHH.com had a chance to peep Bas in London, UK. Out on the second night of the European leg of his ‘Too High To Riot’ tour, he showed off the best from his recent album and put on one hell of a show at the the O2 Academy Islington.
1. Just Cozz
Bas had a host of shiny new talent warming up his audience including The Hics, Earthgang and Dreamville artist Cozz, who performed some of his well-known tracks such as “Knock Tha Hustle” and “Dreams.”
2. Pent Life
Rapper Bas was rumored to have been kicking it with fans outside during the early warm up acts. But he walked on stage with no introduction for his opener “Penthouse.”
3. The Hics
UK band, The Hics, who were supporting the Bas also later joined the Fiend on stage for his album tracks “Matches” and “Ricochet.”
4. Dreamville’s Finest
Cozz returned to stage to perform with Bas. Both rappers have a grip of songs that they’ve done together including Cozz’s own “Tabs.
5. Crowd Turnt AF
Bas’ audience pretty much knew every lyric to every song of his. Amongst his tracks, he sent his fans into frenzy with some of his most popular tracks, “Housewives,” “Fiji Water In My Iron,” and of course, “Lit.” Check out Bas’ entire crew getting down to “Housewives” in this short clip.
