G.O.O.D. Music’s 2 Chainz has a way with words. This week, the hip-hop veteran managed to avoid fines after a New York City run-in with law enforcement.
According to reports, Deuce sweet talked his way out of trouble in Manhattan after an Action Bronson TV production.
“After their shoot, members of the NYPD were about to ticket equipment vans and SUVs parked along Ninth Avenue,” our spy said. “2 Chainz, who was decked out in $1,050 Gucci slippers, talked his way out of the tickets and even posed for photos with the officers, causing a crowd wanting in on the impromptu photo session.” That’s when “he was whisked away in an Escalade.” (Page Six)
Recently, 2 Chainz linked up with NFL superstar Cam Newton.
Earlier this month, Chainz talked about working with hip-hop veteran Eminem.
“Em’s telling me he listens to Kendrick and he listens to me. He’s telling me what he likes about Kendrick and he’s telling me a lot of my metaphors give him anxiety. He never knows what I’m going to say. I don’t ever know, [so he says] ‘You give me f*cking anxiety over this.’ And I’m like, ‘Man, it’s really an honor you saying this because you know, as far as the food chain,’ I see him sneak in while I’m rapping and my engineer sees him and says, ‘You can come in.’ I don’t care if it’s 20 people or no people in the studio. You can tell their ambiance is to leave when he’s in there and I’m like everyone stick around kinda. So I see him peek in and I’m going crazy – it was like a little rabbit outside – when it was over, Eminem came in and said, ‘How the hell did you rhyme tabernacle with Adam’s apple?’ … He got his project coming. … Everything changed once I did my verse.
