Def Jam’s 2 Chainz and Young Thug‘s newest solo albums are sitting at the top of the charts. The duo’s newest solo offerings have secured spots on Billboard’s 200 Top 10.
While 2 Chainz’s Pretty Girls Like Trap Music pushed out 106,000 copies at No. 2 behind Lorde’s Melodrama (109,000), Thugger’s LP pushed out nearly 40,000 pieces.
Young Thug’s Beautiful Thugger Girls debuts at No. 8 with 37,000 units, bolstered by 28,000 in SEA units. The album sold 7,000 copies and tallied a little more than 1,000 TEA units. It’s the third top 10 set for the rapper, after Jeffery (No. 8 in April 2016) and Slime Season 3 (No. 7 in September 2016). (Billboard)
