Atlanta rapper 2 Chainz is giving fans a whole lot to look forward to. Friday morning, he went on New York radio station “The Breakfast Club” to speak on last night's Verzuz battle against Rick Ross, why it was so tense and "lazy" and some major details about upcoming music.
2 Chainz Reveals New Album Title
2 Chainz says he is currently working on a new project, and revealed a potentially Kanye West-inspired name for it. Towards the end of their conversation, Deuces let it be known his upcoming album would be called So Help Me God, which was also the original name of ‘Ye’s The Life of Pablo.
“I think we were probably just trying to feed off of each other trying to see who was gonna go [first] because there was so much respect in the room. I was gone go first, they ended up going first and then I started realizing that we were just on some celebration sh*t so I didn’t wanna be too lit. I didn’t wanna be too wifi just coming out with… you know what I mean? I rehearsed, I practiced and everything. it meant a lot to me. So, my whole thing was about me really letting people know that I want my roses while I can still smell ’em.” – 2 Chainz

The hip-hop pair went online this week to reflect on some of their favorite moments from the hits face-off. On Friday, Deuce lit up his Instagram page with a slideshow of fire moments.
