G.O.O.D. Music’s 2 Chainz really put in some work with Eminem. The rap veteran recently talked about linking up with Slim Shady for an unforgettable studio session.

During an extensive interview with hip-hop personality DJ Drama, Deuce revealed his recent encounter with Em and how he clocked in a little lab work with Marshall Mathers.

“Em’s telling me he listens to Kendrick and he listens to me. He’s telling me what he likes about Kendrick and he’s telling me a lot of my metaphors give him anxiety. He never knows what I’m going to say. I don’t ever know, [so he says] ‘You give me f*cking anxiety over this.’ And I’m like, ‘Man, it’s really an honor you saying this because you know, as far as the food chain,’ I see him sneak in while I’m rapping and my engineer sees him and says, ‘You can come in.’ I don’t care if it’s 20 people or no people in the studio. You can tell their ambiance is to leave when he’s in there and I’m like everyone stick around kinda. So I see him peek in and I’m going crazy – it was like a little rabbit outside – when it was over, Eminem came in and said, ‘How the hell did you rhyme tabernacle with Adam’s apple?’ … He got his project coming. … Everything changed once I did my verse. It was rap. It was just rap. He talked about the projects that were out.” (Streetz Is Watchin 45)

In a recent interview, movie director Allen Hughes revealed music icon Dr. Dre is working on Em’s new album.

“Dre still records. People don’t know this: Dre records every day. Literally, he’s in there recording songs every day. He’s like Picasso in that way. He’s always painting. Right now he’s producing, in the 11th hour, a track for Eminem’s latest album. So Dre’s still real active in music, you know? But I hear what you’re saying. It’s the truth.” (UPROXX)

Recently, Em raised eyebrows after he hooked up with 2 Chainz.

Last month, Em showed off a fresh beard at a The Defiant Ones premiere alongside Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine.

  1. Eminem is always far superior lyrically to 2lames. Im disappointed to hear that Em compliments him over his abc rhymes. His metaphors are lame usually. It’s disappointing hearing great MCs acting like they like some of these lame rappers who are just average and their music in time will be forgotten. Anyone else out there feel this way?
